We are very excited at the prospect of our SPYE concert scheduled for 4:30pm on Saturday 27th November at Jesmond United Reformed Church (Burdon Terrace, Jesmond, NE2 3AE). We will have a rehearsal (also at JURC) immediately before the concert from 2.30pm.

We are going to have a raffle to raise money towards supporting some of the cost of a residential in March 2022. It will be £1 for a strip of tickets on the day.

As I’m sure you will appreciate the arrangements for the concert will be a little different to usual to ensure we are operating in accordance with COVID guidance.

As for the previous rehearsals please note:

1.      Everyone will have to use hand sanitiser on arrival and when entering or leaving.

2.      Everyone will need to wear face coverings (except woodwind, when playing).

3.      Everyone will need to bring their own music stand.

4.      Everyone should bring their own music

5.      Please bring your own drink/snack if required.

6.      Concert dress – all black trousers/tops/dresses/skirts

For the concert (4:30pm):

1.      Please use hand sanitiser on entering and leaving the church. If you are able to bring your own hand sanitiser that would be great.

2.      Please wear a face covering at all times, unless exempt.

3.     There are no printed tickets and we suggest a donation of £5 for each adult attending (although any additional donations are very welcome!!)

4.      We won’t be able to serve refreshments unfortunately but please feel free to bring your own.

5.      We anticipate the concert will last for approximately 1 hour.

We encourage everyone (musicians and audience) to take a lateral flow test less than 24 hours before attending if possible please.  It goes without saying that if you have symptoms or have tested positive, please do not attend the concert.
